Returning to Panto Land with ‘Dick Whittington’, the timeless tale of the boy who travels to London to make his fortune, The Wight Strollers are delighted to be back where they belong, with a show boasting a wealth of colourful costumes, toe-tapping numbers and a talented local cast.
Are the streets of London really paved with gold? Will Dick find true love? Will King Rat’s evil plan for world domination come to fruition? Will Smudge the Cat ever get his Dreamies? Will Dame Polly Pudding ever make a decent cake?

Brought to you by the production team behind the Strollers’ sell-out fortieth anniversary panto of ‘Sleeping Beauty’, The Wight Strollers’ production of ‘Dick Whittington’ is set to be a hit with audience members young and old, so save the dates and book your tickets in advance to avoid disappointment. Tickets go on sale 4th January 2022.
The script is penned once again by Sarah and Emily Scotcher, directed by Sarah Scotcher, with Kim Ball as Musical Director and Cheryl and Izzi Rudd as Choreographers, with Geraldine Tulloch as Head of Costume, Richard Hole as Stage Manager, and Elisa Jones as Set Designer.
All proceeds are donated to Island charities and good causes - so gather your family and friends, and join us as we journey to London Town with Dick Whittington, in a fun-packed tale full of laughter, live music, and panto magic!
