Beauty and the Beast

The Wight Strollers are thrilled to be presenting Disney’s Beauty and the Beast: The Broadway Musical this summer, and are inviting adults and children alike to enjoy this ‘tale as old as time’ in aid of Island charities and good causes.

Based on the Academy Award-winning animated film, the musical includes all the enchanting original songs by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman, alongside new songs by Alen Menken and Tim Rice.

With a cast of beloved characters, spectacular costumes, magical music, and a timeless tale of true love, individuality, and friendship, whether you’re seeing it for the first time or the fiftieth this is a show set to delight all ages.

Directed by Sarah Scotcher, with Musical Director Kim Ball and Choreographers Cheryl and Izzi Rudd, the team that brought you Sweet Charity, Priscilla: Queen of the Desert – The Musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and many sell-out pantomimes, this will be a visual and vocal treat.
